About this service

A deep clean is a standard clean with the time to do everything properly. Baseboards and door frames are hand-wiped, not dusted. Tile and grout are scrubbed. Cabinet and drawer fronts are degreased. Light fixtures, switch plates, vents, and ceiling fans are cleaned. Furniture that can be moved safely is moved, and the floor beneath it is done.

It is the visit we recommend before starting a recurring plan, after a season of heavy use, before hosting, or whenever a home has gone a few months without professional attention. It is also the right choice for a home you are about to list, photograph, or hand to guests.

Deep cleans take longer than most people expect, and we do not rush them. Your quote will include an estimated duration based on the size, number of bathrooms, and condition of the home.

  2. 02

    Approve a written quote

We reply, usually the same business day, with a price, an estimated duration, and the checklist for the visit. Nothing is booked until you say yes.

  3. 03

We arrive and get to work

Your housekeeper arrives in the agreed window with everything needed, works the checklist, and texts you when the home is done.

  4. 04

Walk in to a finished home

Pay by card on file after the visit. Set up a recurring plan if you would like the same housekeeper back on a schedule.

Deep Cleaning questions

Good to know.

All questions
How is a deep clean different from a standard clean?

The checklist is longer and the pace is slower. A standard clean maintains surfaces; a deep clean restores them. Grout, baseboards, fixtures, cabinet fronts, and the areas behind and beneath furniture are included in a deep clean and not in a standard one.

How often should a home be deep cleaned?

Twice a year works for most homes on a recurring plan. Homes with pets, young children, or heavy cooking benefit from three or four. If you are not on a plan, a deep clean every three to four months keeps things from building up.

Should I add the oven and refrigerator?

Most clients do. They are priced separately because they add real time, and not every home needs them on every deep clean. You can add them in the quote form.
