Who we are

Lux Signature Cleaning LLC ("Lux," "we," "us") provides residential and light commercial cleaning services in the San Francisco Bay Area and Orange County, California. This policy covers information collected through this website and in the course of providing our services.

What we collect

Information you give us

• Contact details you submit in our forms: name, phone number, email address, and service address.
• Quote and booking details: the service requested, frequency, approximate square footage, bedrooms and bathrooms, condition, add-ons, preferred dates, notes, and the estimated price shown to you.
• Access information you choose to share for service visits, such as gate codes, lockbox codes, or alarm instructions.
• Payment information, which is processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store card numbers.

Information collected automatically

• Website usage and navigation: the pages you view, the order you view them in, the links and buttons you use, how far you scroll, and which steps of the booking form you complete.
• Referral and campaign information: the site or search engine that referred you and any campaign parameters in the link (for example UTM source, medium, and campaign).
• Device and browser information: browser type, device category, screen size, and language.
• IP address and approximate location: when you visit, our hosting provider sees your IP address and derives an approximate city, region, country, postal code, and time zone from it. This is IP-based and approximate, not precise GPS location. We do not request your browser's location permission. We use the derived location and do not retain the raw IP address; a one-way hash of it may be kept briefly to detect abuse.
• A random session identifier stored in your browser for the length of your visit so that pages viewed in one session can be connected. It contains no personal information.

How we use it

• To prepare estimates and quotes, schedule and perform cleaning visits, and communicate with you about them.
• To respond to inquiries sent through the contact form, by phone, or by text.
• To assign a consistent housekeeper and keep notes about your preferences so that visits improve over time.
• To understand how the website performs and where visitors come from, so we can improve pages and the booking experience.
• To measure marketing effectiveness, including which cities, referral sources, and campaigns lead to inquiries.
• To connect a submitted quote, booking, or message to the pages viewed in the same session, so we can respond with the right context. We do this only after you submit a form.
• To bill for services and keep the records the law requires.

We do not sell your information. We do not add you to marketing lists without asking. We do not share access information with anyone outside the team assigned to your home. We do not record keystrokes or the contents of form fields before you submit them.

Analytics

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics to measure page views and interactions such as button clicks and booking-form steps. Analytics events contain only non-identifying context such as the page path, the type of service selected, a square-footage range, bedroom and bathroom counts, the city or market, and the device category. They never contain your name, email address, phone number, street address, notes, or message contents. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies for this purpose and does not track you across other websites.

Text messages

If you provide a mobile number, we may text you about your quote, confirmations, arrival updates, and follow-ups. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for assistance.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers who help us run the business: website hosting and analytics (Vercel), email and text delivery, scheduling software, payment processing, and any customer-relationship tool we use to store inquiries. Each is bound to protect your information and may use it only to provide its service to us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

How we protect it

Access information is stored in a restricted system available only to the office and the housekeeper assigned to your home. Submitted inquiries are stored server-side and are not exposed in web addresses, page titles, or browser storage. Staff are trained on confidentiality, and access is removed when someone leaves the company. Website traffic is encrypted.

How long we keep it

Inquiry and booking records for as long as you are a client and for the period afterward that tax and business records require. Website usage and session records are kept only as long as needed for the purposes above. Access codes are deleted when you ask us to or when service ends.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you for anything other than an active booking. California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights, and we honor them.

Cookies

This website uses only the storage needed to function, such as remembering a partially completed booking form for the length of your visit. We do not use advertising cookies.

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and, for active clients, tell you directly.
